Sail (or "Sail Health") is operated by Sail Health Pty Ltd (ABN 80696321070), based in Australia ("Sail", "we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at team@sailhealth.com.
What we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
Your email address (and any other details you choose to enter into the form, such as your name)
Any information you share when communicating with us (e.g. via the contact form or email)
When you visit this website, our hosting and analytics providers may also automatically collect basic technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the site.
A note on health-related information
Sail is designed for people living with persistent pain. Because of this, the fact that you've joined our waitlist may suggest something about your health or interests. Under Australian privacy law, information of this kind is treated as "sensitive information" and given extra protection.
By joining our waitlist, you consent to us collecting and using your email address for the purposes described in this policy. We only use it for those purposes, and we don't collect any further health details from you at this stage.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
let you know when early access for the Sail app becomes available;
send you occasional updates about Sail (you can opt-out or unsubscribe at any time);
understand interest in Sail and improve what we're building
We do not sell your information, and we don't use it for any other purpose without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with:
Service providers who help us run our waitlist and website — for example Google Forms/Sheets and Framer. These providers only handle your information on our behalf and under our instructions
Members of our team, contractors and advisors, where they need access to help us operate the waitlist.
Others, if required by law or to protect our legal rights
We don't rent or sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing. We're conscious of your privacy.
Where your information is stored
Some of our service providers store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and/or other countries. By joining our waitlist, you consent to your information being handled in these locations. We take reasonable steps to ensure it's handled consistently with this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you opt-out or ask us to delete it.
Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message we send you
Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us at team@sailhealth.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time
Australian residents have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy issue, you can contact us first, and you may then complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au
United States residents (including California) may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, to opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we do not sell your information), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. If you're elsewhere and your local laws give you additional rights over your information, contact us and we'll do our best to honour them
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Sail and it's waitlist are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. If we make a significant change, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
